Talking with our Maker Residents โ€“ part 2

  • 14 August, 2024

It is time for Talking with our Maker Residents part 2! This time in our call we will have Leonard Shayo (Tanzania) and Martine Basaninyange (Rwanda) from the mAkE Residency (MiR) program.

The MiR program aims to provide valuable exchanges between European and African makers and makerspaces. This year we had 4 African makers that traveled to France, Belgium and Spain to experience the local makerspace culture and develop their innovative prototypes with expert support. Leonard and Martine had their residency in Hackerspace Liege in Belgium, and in Fab Lab Barcelona in Spain.

During the call they are going to tell us more about themselves, their makerspaces, new skills acquired and the prototypes that they have developed during their one month residency.

Discover more about the program here.
